                  I stumbled upon this game on the Forums, in my general searches for Fetish-fitting games. Honestly, one of the only games I'd check from Milovana (as it's already a niche website, with a niche game format, and also there aren't a lot of sizable games there, either). I'll admit I did not expect much of this game, either, as it did seem a tad bit generic on first sight. But, oh well, I did try it regardless (would we be here otherwise?). Way better than my expectations, clearly. However, does that make it a decent game for your own perusal of it? Read further, see my own remarks on it, then decide it's all rubbish either way and make your own opinion! (or maybe I even got some things right, perhaps...)

          QuickView
                  Nice Run-based, RPG game, with a bit of difficulty to it, but with generally satisfying gameplay (albeit not huge in general size). The H-scenes are very Hot, and highly interactive, even with the limitations of the game's format (although they all use Pics from Porn Productions, with Credits provided both in the Corners of the pics, and for the Actresses' names, in the Codex entries for each Enemy). The price for the game is also decent (and the Dev is active and dedicated enough to currently deserve some support, too!). I do advise considering using the Console Cheats (that I also explain in my Files), at least after first Completing the game legit, to have the possibility of getting to any wished H-Scene immediately (as the game, sadly, does not have a proper Gallery for the Scenes).

                  Full Review

                  Plot = ----
                  Back to a game with not much Plot! It's probably obvious from a cursory check of the game, but the game does not have a relevant overall Plot to it focusing more on the experience of it and the general RPG gameplay. There are plenty of H-Scenes, and the more-extended ones (or the more involved Events that get multiple such H-scenes) could be considered to hold some story to them, but in practice, it does not branch much further.
                  To talk about the premise of the game, you are an attempt at a generic (male) Hero, attempting to defeat (female) enemies you encounter, all of which try to defeat you via means of lascivious activities (though they can also hit you normally, too; they all still like to get their victory Sex Scenes, if they get to beat you). The setting itself looks, for the most part, as pretty Medieval, having a lot of Wilderness and Natural-themed locations (for exploration), a Medieval-City, and a lot of CGs further reflecting a Medieval idea.

As shown, medieval-inspired pictures.

                  On the other hand, most, if not all, H-Scenes, have clear Modern-day elements in them, mostly because the pictures used are from actual Porn Actresses and associated Porn productions, as can be seen from the small watermarks present on the respective pictures. It's not (as far as I know) blatant ripping off, it's actually how the Tease format of games usually work. More on it in the respective sections, but to point out specific examples of modern-world:

- What a wonderful portable dwelling! What merchant did you purchase it from?
- Amazon. Not the one with only women.

                  Gameplay = 7.37
          Mechanics = 7
                  To preface, the Tease format of games (WebTease to be exact) works on the Basis of having Choice Menus. Also, this type of games generally are aimed to be focused on having Fap Material, being Fap Challenges, or things in a similar vein. Thus, even this game (that strayed pretty far from the norm) still has some areas that explicitly leave you for given intervals of time looking at CGs. Keep that aspect (and the limitations of this system) in mind.
                  The game is mainly a Run-based RPG Rogue-like. You have an out-of-run Menu, in which you can make Meta-Upgrades (that permanently help you, accross runs) to 3 of your main Stats, Max HP, Max Lust and Attack. You can also purchase items and consumables for your next Run (however, those are only for the next run, and need to be re-purchased for each run you want them in). To make the purchases in this Menus, you use the Points you win in each Run, those being awarded according to how far you got into that Run (how many bosses you beat, if you reached, or even beat, the Castle etc), how much Corruption or losses you got (those detracting from your total Point Score) and miscellaneous other ways to earn Points (such as having the Soul of the Damned). However, all of the Meta-elements of the game are only available if you choose, at the beginning, the "Normal" game mode, as the "Legacy" one recreates the early-production experience of the game, in which there was no Meta-progress, and you started right from the beginning for each Run through the game. I'll take the Normal mode, thank you very much. I like feeling like my time, in the end, is spent towards a final goal.
                  As for the In-run mechanics. There are 4 main Stats, including those specified before, and Stamina. As for secondary stats, you have the 6 Addiction types, those being: Blowjob, Handjob, Big Breasts, Creampie, Shemale, and Anal. Each of this can be increased by enemy attacks or events catering to their specific fetish. You also have a Corruption stat, which is like a more centralized, general way to determine your, well, Corruption. Both Addictions and Corruption have a role in how much your Lust increases from attacks (with Addictions only affecting the attacks specific for each, and Corruption being a more universal, relevant, factor in all such Lust-inducing attacks). HP damage is generally not affected by those secondary stats. The stats are also important for Stat Checks, in which you are given a certain Stat Threshold, and then you roll Randomly between 0 and the Value of to impacted Stat. If your roll is over the given Stat Threshold, you lose the Roll (this making you need to keep most such detrimental stats, such as Lust, Addictions and Corruption, low, for those Stat Checks to either be 100% winnable, or at least have a high chance of a good roll on them).
                  To complete the RPG aspect, you also get to have Gold, Consumables, Key Items and Equipment. Gold is gained from defeating enemies. You get Consumables in the form of differently-colored Potions, with the Red and Purple potions increasing the Max HP and Lust respectively, each at the cost of both adding 2 to Corruption and 5 to a random Addiction. The Blue potion is a slight Addiction and Corruption removal across the board, and the Green and Orange potions simply heal HP and Lust respectively (without other drawbacks). For Equipment, you get only 2 "Slots", 1 being the Weapon and the other being the Accessory. You rarely find the Equipment as Loot after defeating enemies, and will generally rely on Crafting those Equipments, when you have both the proper recipes for each and the materials required. And key items.... you know what they do.
                  A normal run in the game starts at the Base, from where you can choose to Explore, Rest, go to the City (perma-unlocked after doing a few Explore-ations in your first time on the Save), check the Equipment (once you have a Backpack in the current run, either pre-purchased in the Meta-menu or In-run from the shop) or check the Codex (also perma-unlocked after doing its unique event in the 2nd day of the first run on the Save). At higher levels of Corruption, you also get the option to Masturbate, and from 18:00 to the end of the day (ends at 22:00), you also get the option to Sleep (and end the day this way). To Explore, you choose one of the Areas you have avaliable to explore. For free, the game gives you, each new run at the start, the choice between Forest and Grove for the 1st Area you can already explore, with the other areas needing Maps to be purchased to be avaliable for you to Explore. Roughly-speaking, the areas, in terms of difficulty and loot, are tiered, with the 2 possible beginning areas being tier 1, their "evolutions" (Deep Forest and Lakeside) being tier 2, Swamp and Hills being tier 3, and Dark Woods being the sole tier 4. Exploring can randomly get you to fight one of the women enemies avaliable in the area you explored, an Event of that Area, or the Lab Event, if it's the time for a Lab Event to happen. Rest is the option to spend a bit of time to instead heal a bit of HP, Lust and Stamina. The Equipment menu shows the current Items and Recipes you have on you, and you can also use your Consumables from it, or Equip the chosen Equipment. The Codex contains general information, on your current stats, on the game, on the enemies (unlocking more information on each of their entries by defeating them multiple times), and also the Menu to choose your Perks upon "level-ing up".

Possible Base Menu

                  The game does have a Time and Day system. Time passes only on the hour part of the clock (no half-hours or less), with most activities taking either 1 or 2 hours each. There is limited usable Time each day, and depending on the Time of the Day, different enemies have a higher chance to appear in each area. Area Bosses can also be Time-dependant on their appearance. The Day system, too, influences certain events. Notably, the game, its main part, has a time limit of 14 days to be "completed" (by reaching, and beating, the castle). From the 15th day onwards, the Castle cannot be accessed anymore, and allegedly, no more of the Run's progress will be recorded from that point onwards (while giving you the choice of continuing the Run regardless). Not sure on how accurate that is, as I was still able to fill the Codex with enemy entries, and I also think you might still be able to earn some more Points even after the 15th day.
                  The City is a Hub of useful locations, such as the Shop (buy Maps, Potions, Extra Photos as perma-upgrades in the Enemy Entries in the Codex, or sell Materials), the Tavern (earn a few Gold servicing customers, or pay to Rest in it), the Blacksmith (Forge equipment for which you have the Recipe and the Materials, or buy more Materials) or even the Church (to pay to reduce Addictions or Corruption). Some unique random Events can also happen in the City.
                  As for Combat itself, it's fairly simple. You can either do a Normal Attack or a Heavy Blow (that deals 1.5x Damage compared with the Normal Attack), each consuming Stamina (10 for Normal Attack and 20 for Heavy Blow). You can also Wait, to regain some Stamina back, check your Backpack, to use avaliable Consumables (only the Green and Orange potions), or try to Escape the combat (you've played RPGs, you know how Escape works). Important to know, you deal damage based on how much current Stamina you still have at the point of starting the attack, considering the amount of current Stamina ast the percentage modifier for the Damage dealt (eg.: 90/100 Stamina means you'll deal 90% of the full damage). Keep Stamina generally high to maintain reasonable damage amounts. You get to see your Current main stats on the Screen, as well as the enemy's stats (enemies can have different avaliable stats, but almost all have at least an HP amount). Enemies can affect you with "Status Effects" which usually are current positions in-combat (Restrained, Dominated), with some examples that are more in the realm of Status Effects (such as Charmed or Aroused) and so on. If you're Restrained in any way, you also cannot Escape, along with the normal effects (eg.: Dominated makes you deal only half damage). Defeating enemies gives you gold and exp, and at each 60 Exp gained, you get an Perk point to spend in the Perk Tree for passive useful bonuses. Each Area has it's Boss, with all but Hills (currently) and Dark Woods having multiple possible Bosses, out of each one is randomly chosen for each area. After a number of days, the Bosses start "appearing", by showing prompts at Base related to their Area in the Time interval in which they appear each day. Defeating all the Bosses is required to "Complete" the game. Losing to enemies will further cause heavier increasing of afferent Addictions and of the general Corruption, at times even getting you a Bad End directly. Plenty of Events can also get you into a Bad End too.

Possible Combat Menu

                  Defeating each Boss gives a Map piece. The Dark Woods boss requires a certain quest for it to be accessible. After getting all the Map pieces, you automatically unlock the final Area, the Castle, which, apart from being accessible only up until the 15th day, also can only be attempted once per Run. The Castle consists of multiple Boss Fights done back-to-back (with small breaks in-between in which you can heal via Potions), first starting with the Bosses already fought in the Run, afterwards continuing with Unique Castle Bosses. Finishing all current Battles "completes" the game (but you still get the option to continue your Run afterwards too).
                  I already got into some of the details, but, for more details, check the Info in the Files that I've made for the game, down bellow. As for the Mechanics overall, they do generally work, even within the limitations of the system used. Surprisingly so, actually. However, the limitations can be felt at times in-play. Some design choices can get frustrating (such as the Backpack holding some crucial game functions), and you also have no way of skipping some of the longer waits in the game (yea, also no dice in hooking my Cheat Table to a Web Browser successfully; trust me, I really hate slow transitions). Admirable RPG functions given the circumstances, but even then, not the biggest of gameplay Scopes, and fairly short if speedran through (albeit difficult, not impossible).

          Complexity = 7
                  Want me to be Cringe and say it's "The Souls of..."? In all seriousness, it is a more difficult RPG. Tighter situations, requiring more perfect gameplay to succeed fast, the spiral of loss you can enter in a Run (as each Battle Loss, that does not outright Bad End you, will still increase your Addictions and Corruption, making next combats harder, or requiring you to reduce said stats yourself), and the Stat Checks capable of being very unfair at times (depending on how unlucky you got with your detrimental stats increasing to a certain extent). Then again, it's still not an unfair game, as you still have the Meta-progress you can make, so that, inevitably, you'll end up completing the game (with enough grind and skill). Personally, I do like a bit of a challenge, and the game does provide a fair one (with the option to either slowly overcome it, or use strategy and beat the game faster, without reliance on much Meta-upgrades).
                  There is also a number of mechanics employed by the game, an impressive amount, given it being a WebTease. In fact, the Combats themselves, at least some unique ones, can have varying mechanics to them. Not to an extreme degree however, they still generally maintain some common aspects between them, to feel as part of the same game.

          Uniqueness = 8
                  The Engine used is clearly not a commonly-used one (for bigger, popular, Adult games, at least). The gameplay itself is fairly standard for an RPG, with some specific unique aspects to this game, such as some certain limitations (eg.: the Backpack being necessary for a couple of essential Gameplay menus, the Stamina impacting the damage dealt etc.). It has some good unique mechanics, even as an RPG.

          Replayability = 7.5
                  Since it is Run-Based, there is reason to Replay it a couple of times. First, to unlock everything possible, to see all the enemies the game has to offer, to get OP, or even to get a better general Score. Again, the overall size of the game is not imense, you can still blast through the game reasonably fast, which will end up reducing a part of the need to play the game again afterwards for its gameplay aspects.

                  Scenes = 7.12
          Visual = 7
                  Now this. It's a harder one to properly, and fairly, judge. On one hand, it's undeniable that the Visuals are very good. After all, they are CGs of actual Porn Stars and Porn productions. They have been made specifically for the purpose of Adult Content. The pictures are very hot, each in its own way, and, for those that would love some of the given Fetishes of this game (or even associated ones), they are surely good fap material.

Just entranced by Nova....
(Model: Rilynn Rae)

                  The difficulty in judging fairly here comes from the fact that, as you can clearly see, this Visuals are all taken from other Porn Productions. I'll go with the benefit of the doubt and say it's all alright and legal, from a copyright perspective (since almost all WebTeases work with such Visuals, would be extremely weird for all of them to willingly commit something illegal; possibly, those are either freely-shared pictures, or the Creators paid for a pack of said pictures). However, how much of the work for said visuals can be attributed to the Creators themselves? There is some skill needed in finding proper CGs, especially ones fitting for the game (and the game situations), and also adapting the game itself slightly to fit the CG situations. However, it's clearly very differnet than artists actually drawing, or generally making, the Visuals themselves. I actually did enjoy the H-scenes of this game, and their visuals. So that's not an issue. Just accounting for fairness is a tad bit harder....
                  Thus, the Score given here is to take into consideration both the awesome Visuals, and the effort needed to be put into them in this specific case. Just the Visuals would have gotten about a 9 for their quality.

          Written = 7.5
                  Well, this one clearly is from the Creator. Unless you think the Porn Actresses would have specifically wanted to be into an Adult game (though they could easily be into Roleplay scenarios, as you can see in some of the Pictures). There isn't a whole lot of writting, as the game relies heavily on the Pictures themselves. The writing present is more to link, and make in-game sense of, the pictures. As such, there is little 3rd person narration, and a slightly bit more Dialogue-driven parts. Overall, the writting is not the main focus in this game, it's more of a support tool to help the Visuals shine more (or recontextualize them within the game). As few as the writting is here, it does do it's job quite well, and (disregarding the clearly Modern-setting Pictures) the CGs do feel quite integrated into the game proper. Not a bad job, honestly.

          Interactibility = 9
                  A very decent degree of it, here. Not just the RPG mechanics (with the Enemy's H-attacks), but also in lots of interaction mechanics, both in-battle (your choices during Status Checks, during in-battle Events etc.), during Events, and even during Bad Ends (although the latter example is mostly just for flavor, as the Bad End is still a Bad End). An extremely good job done here, considering, again, the format of the game. Very immersive.

          Replayability = 5
                  This one is a bit more difficult. While the Codex does also hold the Pics for each Enemy, for your viewing (utmost) pleasure, the H-Scenes themselves don't have an actual In-game Gallery. The Bosses are not even always in the Codex! (only the ones defeated in the current Run appear there). What's more, you cannot guarantee, at any point, getting almost any of the enemies, both normal and bosses. Because of this, even on a completely OP, Full, Save, you might have trouble finding a specific girl (and especially repeatedly). For this, you'll need specific Cheats, of which I explain in the Files for the game. You can actually use Console Commands to even "Teleport" to any wished Location, Combat or Event (any "Menu" really), and even share, load and change Saves! The game does have quite a variety of girls in it, and thus, of possible Scenes. Sadly, apart from some of the Events (of which you'd remember the triggers for, such as for the Church imprisonment requiring you to enter the Church 6 times during a Run), you cannot specifically target any girl to find, and properly get to enjoy her scenes as you wish, in great length (that is, without the afordmentioned Cheats).

                  Development = 8.25
          Stability = 9.5
                  Diogaoo maintains steady general current work on his main projects. He did deliver steadily updates on this game. As of current, he's even working on the Sequel/Port of the game, "Hero Corruption 2", which will be made in Renpy instead (a more fitting engine for a text-based, CG-having, RPG-mechanics game; plenty other games made in Renpy show it's capabilities, that look more like what this Dev would wish for their game). He still updates this (first) game, although it's likely that, at some point, he will let this game be officially Finished and dedicate full focus on the 2nd game. Hero Corruption 2 does use a lot of the previously-introduced mechanics of this game (the Game's Location structure, Enemies, Time system and other mechanics), while also making some changes and new additions (new Status Effects, Sound Effects, new Meta-progress upgrades, changed Addictions, new Leveling-up system (with new Base Stats, that influence the Active Stats that, in the 1st game, would have been the Main Stats), etc.). Clearly, Diogaoo is very much still involved into working on the games.

          Communication = 7
                  A certain degree of communication, on the websites he frequents (Milovana, Patreon's comments). Nothing out of the ordinary, pretty alright overall.

                  Obtaining = 9
          Price = 8.5
                  The $5 Patreon Subscription. Decent enough, get's you both this game, the next game (that it's being developed), and another game of theirs, "Project V" (although that one is clearly not one of the main projects). Better when you consider this Creator is still actively developing, so he would actually deserve the support on Patreon.

          Methods = 9.5
                  Easy, through Patreon. For this game, being online, you only need the proper link (and a browser that can run the game without issues; If your current browser cannot run it, check what extensions you have, or simply try a fresh new browser).

                  FINAL SCORE = 7.93
                  A good game, has some challenge to it, very spicy H-scenes, sexy CGs, a lot of interactivity, and also an alright price (that can also support an active Creator). Only held back by the current game's engine, the difficulty of Save-interactions, and the inability of easily getting the desired H-Scenes repeatedly. Still, it is clearly worth giving it a shot (and you can even use the Cheats explained in my Files if you feel like the game's too difficult, or want to get straight to the Hot content)

                  Words to the Developer
                  Keep up the Solid work! Seems like you already have the right idea, switching to Renpy (which looks like the better engine for the type of game you wish to develop), and you've already taken active steps into that direction (slowly porting the mechanics from the 1st game, and even improving and implementing new ones). Of course, there is still a lot more you can improve on, in the terms of general game quality, but you clearly have a passion for your works, and show the ability to grow and evolve. As such, you do deserve your fan's support, and I do wish to see what you can accomplish more in the future, too! Trustin' you on this one!

                  Fluff (Intermission)
                  Top Addiction
                  For me, that's clearly Blowjob. The girl are so hot in it! (although, admittedly, all the girls are hot, being Porn Actresses and all.... Though taste do differ). There is even HP drain involved in a few parts (Nova being a hot, good, example). Might like some others, as well....

I sure am attracted to their Blowjobs....

                  [New] 2nd Game News!
<<<<======== Edit: 11/08/2023
                  Been a while, but I kept tabs on this game, too (much like I do with quite a number of In-Dev games). And the 2nd game kept steadily evolving in-time. Curretly, this also meant the 1st game stopped getting new updates, so it's likely that it might be in a "Finished" state now (although Diogaoo has yet to state this themselves).
                  As for the 2nd, so far, it does seem like a lot of the mechanics of the 1st game have been transfered over, some with some changes to them, such as the case with Event encounters (non-combat ones, that is) now not taking Time in-game, or the function of the end-game Tower, and generally how the game ends. Instead of having an arbitrary day limit, after which the Tower (and the normal End of the game) would be closed off, like in the 1st game, now you can keep playing indefinitely... With the enemies scaling per-day constantly, too. Considering the new Level-up mechanic, which gives you stat points to spend in your main stats, you yourself could keep going for quite a while, too!
                   Also, to unlock access to the Tower per-run, you first need to achieve a certain Fame level (during the Run itself, not the meta-Fame you collect for your Skill Tree), then go to the Tavern in the City and choose the proper option, which will then unlock the Tower as an Explore location. The Tower itself also works a tad bit differently. Upon entering it, you can set the Enemy Base HP and Bonus HP (how much HP they gain per floor), the Boss frequency (setting it higher than every 5 encounters disables Tower Achievements) and the option to have your Stamina refilled after every Encounter (also disables Achievements). From there on, the Tower continues endlessly, unlike in the 1st game (in which it was simply a Boss Rush, with unique tower bosses at the end).
                   Other minor changes include being able to unlock new Starter Traits through certain Events or Encounters (usually, to gain the unlockable Traits in your run so that they also unlock to be selectable at the start of future runs), some new potions (relevant to the new Attributes of this game), different Tavern Work interactions, and possibly more in the future, if Diogaoo feels like it (there's plenty of flexibility in Renpy for that, at least compared to Milovana). Of course, things are subject to change, especially with the development rate of this game, so if you see me contradict these information in the next News on this game, well, don't be overly-surprised.
Edit: 11/08/2023 ========>>>>

                   A bit of work here (on the Console side of things, to make it as easy-to-understand as possible, without needing much programming knowledge, if possible).

                  Info
                   Some General Info, that might help with some of the more obscure, or unkown mechanics (such as the pattern, in the Explore, between Normal Girl Encounters and the Lab Event, and when the Lab Event is guaranteed, per day).

                  (Console) Saves+Cheats
                   As mentioned in the Files themselves, the original idea came from a Forum Post, as an user there, that claims to be the maker of the Save System used by both this game and Trials of the Succubi (and most likely is, given the in-depth knowledge he has), posted the information on how to use the Browser's JavaScript Console to Cheat within the game (change any Variable at will), and even have a Save System this way (by converting any given Game State into a JSON string, that can then be loaded back into the game as well). Awesome work he did! I would have mentioned his Username for further credits, but.... He's account is deleted at this moment. Still, link to his post, that gave me the initial information to make my own Guides, here: [Link to Post]

<<<<======== Edit: 5/18/2023
                   Added the v1.65 new Code elements. Both to make the Full Save remain, well, Full, and also to add the 2 new enemies and the 2 new weapons (and their respective code entries) in the Files, in their proper places.
Edit: 5/18/2023 ========>>>>

<<<<======== Edit: 11/08/2023
                  Enough of the 2nd game has been developed that I can actually release content for it. In this case, it's strictly Console Cheats. However, considering how the game handles Runs and its Meta-values, those Cheats are more than enough (and essentially replace the need for Saves).
                  I did go through the Variables of the game, and ended up finding the proper ones to modify for most relevant changes, such as fully-unlocking the entries for all the Enemies, having the Fame points to level up the Skill tree, or the Traits you can unlock for your future starts of runs. I ordered the relevant variables according to their use. I even included, much like for the 1st game, the commands to trigger specific Game Encounters! (you'll have to have the Renpy Console enabled first, but I specified ways to enable it in the "ReadMeAndHowTo" file of the Files, as per usual)

                  Another Review done, fresh from my Trip! And, we'll, I guess we're also approaching that quaint Holiday period, the one with the fat red-dressed reverse-robber and the such. Also the end of the year. We've come a long way, haven't we?.... Nah, those ponderings I'll leave at the actual New Year's Eve. For now, I'll just go and think of proper stuff to do for Christmas.... Might have some ideas....
